Sponsorship
What does it mean to sponsor a SouthBay.NET User Group meeting event?

Who we are:
We are a User group of Microsoft .NET technologies (over 1000 members in our email list). The group consists of developers, architects, technical leaders, project and IT managers who work and reside in Southern California region. We are a charter member of The International .NET Association (INETA). INETA provides structured, peer-based organizational, educational, and promotional support to the growing worldwide community of Microsoft .NET user groups.

What we do:
Our mission is to share knowledge and experience in .NET technology with individuals who are keen in learning, sharing and growing their Microsoft .NET knowledge and capabilities.

What you do:

Pay for refreshments and/or provide books or products which we could either giveaway or raffle at one of our events.

What you get:

* Get your company logo on the homepage of our website during the time of promoting the event

meeting (about 4 weeks). We plan to have 'click-thru' tracking in the next version of our website soon.

* Get your company mentioned in all emails that go out to our membership list that are geared

towards promoting our events. We have a member list of over 1000 members that receive event

announcements and soon, our monthly newsletter. We plan to have about two mailings per month.

* You can have literature about your products and services available to the attendees during the

meeting. You and your employees are also welcome to attend our events.

* During the time of promoting the event meeting - you can have job postings (with links) at our website

* We put your logo on our THANK YOU slide that is in the PowerPoint deck that plays during the

meeting "warm up" (similar to the advertisement slide show in movie halls) .

* Our undying gratitude.

Our meeting events are held on the 2nd Thursday of the month from 6:15-9PM.
Our presenters are very notable developers from the Microsoft .NET Development community. We also plan to have INETA speakers (from Microsoft) in future meetings. Please take a look at the upcoming meeting announcements at our site. We expect around 120-150 attendees in our monthly meetings. We do request a RSVP from our members in order to get a pizza/soda count tally prior to our meetings. Event Sponsors' contributions are monthly-based. Though we are a non-profit group, we are not an IRS Sec 503 category yet so currently, we cannot offer a tax-exemption benefit.
Should you be interested in sponsoring our events either partly or fully, please contact us either by submitting the form below or email us at president@southbaynet.org
